Steve is currently Executive Vice President of Global Supply & Technical Operations for Apotex Inc., Canada’s largest pharmaceutical company with global sales in excess of $2 Billion dollars. In this role, Steve is responsible for leading Apotex’s global finished dosage manufacturing and supply operations, including Apotex production sites in Canada, USA, Mexico and India as well as Apotex’s network of external finished dosage supply partners around the world. Steve also has responsibility for Apotex Corporate Engineering.
Prior to joining Apotex in 2013, Steve had a diverse global career in the Pharmaceutical industry with Eli Lilly, AstraZeneca, Patheon, and Teva.
Steve has a Bachelor of Engineering Science (Mechanical) degree from the University of Western Ontario, and an MBA from the Ivey School of Business, also at Western. Steve is also a former military engineering officer (Captain) in the Canadian Armed Forces.
Steve was born and raised in the Greater Toronto Area, but has lived and worked at different times throughout his career in Canada, USA, and Australia, and has worked extensively in Europe, Japan, Puerto Rico, and India.
Steve and his wife Lisa live in Oakville Ontario. They have been married for 32 years and have three adult children.
