Sridhar has 24 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry including 17 years with innovator companies and 7 years with generics companies. His broad experience ranges from early phase discovery and development to ANDA of all dosage forms, as well as product commercialization. His career began at Novartis Pharma, USA where he worked on API development, including crystallization.
Sridhar also led the solid state chemistry group for DuPont Pharmaceuticals, USA and spent more than 14 years with Bristol-Myers Squibb in the US and India, where he was responsible for initiating a new technologies group to overcome oral bioavailability challenges for NCEs. As a member of the BMS leadership team he was responsible for executing company strategy for discovery/development activities in Bengaluru, India.
Sridhar’s experience with generics included a role in pharma development with Dr. Reddy’s Labs, where he worked on oral solids, injectables, and inhalation products with specific focus on complex generics, during which he led his team to develop and file more than 90 ANDAs. He holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Iowa State Univ. with a Minor in Statistics.
