Chris has over 30 years of commercial and clinical manufacturing experience in the biopharmaceutical industry.
He has been with Blueprint Medicines since 2017, and oversees all aspects of commercial and clinical manufacturing, supply chain and logistics, process and formulation development, and analytical chemistry for Blueprint’s approved products and product candidates, including AYVAKITTM (avapritinib) and GAVRETOTM (pralsetinib). Previously, Chris served as Vice President, Technical Operations at ARIAD Pharmaceuticals, leading the product development and supply chains for Iclusig® (ponatinib) and Alunbrig® (brigatinib). Prior to ARIAD, Chris held multiple roles of increasing responsibility at Allos Therapeutics and Hauser, Inc. related to clinical and commercial manufacturing and supply of active pharmaceutical ingredients.
Chris’ professional interests and passions include delivering drug supply for patients in critical global clinical trials and for commercial distribution; optimizing internal organizations; facilitating, coaching, and developing high performing teams and individuals; effectively building close business partnerships and alliances; and building and maintaining outstanding operational networks.
Chris holds a B.S. from Hope College with a major in chemistry and a Ph.D. in chemistry from The University of Chicago.
