Nancy Barbour is currently Sr. Vice President, Product Development, at Bristol Myers Squibb and is responsible for drug product, device, process and analytical development, and clinical manufacturing for BMS’ pipeline of drug candidates. She joined BMS in 1991 after receiving her B.S. in Pharmacy from Albany College of Pharmacy and Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from the University of Kansas.
Throughout her 30 years at BMS, she has worked as a scientist, development team leader, and functional area leader for small molecule and biologics products across the development lifecycle from discovery through commercial launch. Nancy has served on numerous academic advisory boards in the areas of chemical engineering, pharmacy and health sciences, and also serves on the board of a non-profit organization that supports participatory arts across North America.
